Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will return to the octagon on February 2nd to face Renato Moicano at UFC on ESPN +2 in Fortaleza Brazil.
The bout which pits the number 2 and number 4 ranked featherweights in the world in Aldo and Moicano respectively against one another will no doubt have major title implications.
According to the initial report which was broken by MMAJunkie.com, the UFC have targeted the bout as the co-main event with the pair fighting one another in their home country at Centro de Formacao Olimpica do Nordeste in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Aldo is coming off the back of an impressive TKO victory over Jeremy Stephens in July, a victory that the Brazilian needed after back to back defeats to the current featherweight king Max Holloway.
He steps into the octagon against 29-year old Moicano who was the alternate for Max Holloway’s title defence against Brian Ortega at UFC 231 in Toronto last Saturday night.
Moicano is 6-1 in the UFC with his only loss coming against Ortega and despite missing weight as the alternate ahead of the fight he still gets a massive opportunity to make a serious statement by defeating one of, if not, the greatest featherweight fighters of all time.
With the additions, the latest UFC on ESPN+ 2 card now includes a host of Brazilians in what is sure to be an incredibly exciting fight night.
